Overview Sandwich assays are widely used to detect and quantify larger antigens such as proteins, biomarkers and pathogens. The target is captured between two specific binders, typically a capture and a labeled detection antibody. On ElioDX™, the assay is wash-free and monitored in real time, delivering quantitative results in about 10 minutes from a single sample addition.
Nucleic Acid Detection
Real-time, wash-free RNA/DNA detection in 10 minutes
Overview ElioDX™ extends beyond immunoassays to oligonucleotide-based nucleic acid detection. Target-specific capture and fluorescent detection probes hybridize with the target sequence, enabling rapid and quantitative detection without antibodies.
How it works on ElioDX™

Target-specific probes — Capture and fluorescent detection oligos recognize different regions of the target.

Add the sample — Target nucleic acid hybridizes with both probes.

Real-time detection — ElioDX™ continuously monitors fluorescence as binding occurs.

Quantitative result — Concentration is determined from a calibration curve in about 10 minutes.
